Dr Ann Liebert (PhD)

Director

Dr Ann Liebert (PhD) is a world-renowned Australian scientist with over 30 years of clinical experience treating previously intractable conditions, such as Parkinson’s disease and chronic headache. She is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at Sydney University, Coordinator of Photomolecular Research at the Sydney Adventist Hospital, a visiting professor at the University at Buffalo, NY and a Director of the Photobiomodulation Research Foundation, located at Shepherd University, WV. Dr Liebert also specialises in treating chronic pain and migraine headaches. She consults with professional Rugby League (NRL) and Australian Rules (AFL) football teams for performance and injury prevention and treatment. She has recently been awarded a Rosalind Franklin Society Award for a woman in science.

Dr Brian Bicknell

Director

Brian is a scientist with many years of teaching and research experience in marine biology, microbiology, phylogenetics, bioremediation and currently microbiome research. In the past he has conducted research into coral reef nutrient cycling, groundwater sulphur cycling, and food webs using molecular techniques. He has investigated the use of bacteria to clean up oil spills and contaminated sites and was involved in the remediation of the Sydney Olympic site in Homebush Bay. More recently his research has been focused on the effect of photobiomodulation on the microbiome in a mouse model and in humans.

Cayla Attwater

PBM Consultant Physiotherapist

Cayla Attwater graduated as a physiotherapist from the Australian Catholic University in 2017. Since graduating she has worked at St Vincent’s Hospital and in a number of sports clubs gaining invaluable hands on experience. Cayla has a keen interest in sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation, which has led her to assist Dr Ann Liebert to consult across the National Rugby League (NRL) and Australian Rules (AFL) football teams for performance, injury prevention and treatment. Cayla’s passion for professional development has seen her complete training in Low Level Laser Therapy, Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates and sports physiotherapy.

Terry Stearns

Consultant

Terry Stearns brings more than 35 years building successful partnerships, joint ventures and channels, winning and implementing new business, in particular, large scale and complex projects. He has comprehensive business experience in industry, government, security, IT and Communications. Expert in needs analysis, sales pipeline management and business development.
